ID Card Front and Back PDF overview

The ID Card Front and Back PDF tool places two document images on one A4 PDF page. It has separate upload slots for the front and back. After upload, the browser tries to detect the card area, crop away the shooting background and show the result in an A4 preview. When generated, both images are centered vertically, kept in proportion and saved as a fixed A4 PDF.

Many onboarding, account opening, reimbursement and document submission workflows ask for the front and back of an ID on one A4 page. Manually arranging images in office software is slow and can stretch or misalign the card. KitVerse performs reading, cropping, scaling, layout and PDF generation locally. Images are not uploaded. The crop algorithm is conservative and keeps the original image when confidence is low, so review the preview before downloading.

How to use ID Card Front and Back PDF

  1. 1Upload the front image in the Front image slot.
  2. 2Upload the back image in the Back image slot.
  3. 3Wait for local cropping and check whether each slot says Auto-cropped or Original kept.
  4. 4Review the A4 Preview to confirm vertical order, proportion and whitespace.

Troubleshooting

Auto-crop is not ideal

Complex backgrounds, glare or skewed photos reduce detection quality.

Retake a clear flat photo or keep the original-image result.

Image orientation is wrong

Portrait or landscape captures may affect document-area detection.

The tool tries orientation handling, but the A4 preview is the final check.

One side cannot generate

This workflow is for front/back stitching and needs both images.

Upload both front and back before generating the PDF.
